How To Find a Book

Wonder if the SSCC library has a certain book? Need a book on a certain topic? Don't know where the library catalog is? It's easier than you may think. It's all in the reach of your fingertips!

The SSCC library webpage can be accessed via any computer. If you are in the library simply click on the internet icon. When the SSCC webpage comes up, you will see a link that say library catalog. After clicking on this link, you'll see the various ways you can search for a book. Books can be searched by topic, subject, author, and keyword. You will be able to find audiovisual needs, magazine and journal titles, and also ebooks (books found on the web).

If you're in the comfort of your own home, simply type in www.sheltonstate.edu. This will take you to the SSCC homepage. Click the box that says Current Students and select Library from the dropdown menu. Then follow the steps given above.

We have staff in the library to help you, of course. We have 3 full-time librarians and 2 part-time librarians on staff who are always glad to help. This is just a way to help you be self-sufficient. It may also save you a trip from home to discover we don't carry the book you're looking for.
